ABOUT ME
WHERE I COME FROM
I have always lived in Margate and really passionate about supporting local individuals.
I am chair of Governors at the local Northdown Primary School, as well as a school Governor at Drapers Mills school. In 2021 I managed to set up the Dane Valley Residents Association bringing together the local residents to tackle local issues. In my youth, I was a member of the Royal Air Force's Air Cadets, where most of my principles and disciplines were formed, which led me to become Chair of the Margate Carnival, and most recently the Margate Christmas Lights, both events benefiting the local communities, whilst growing the local economy.
My biggest passions, are community development, bringing together marginalised communities, and tackling the current housing situations, this mirrors my career as I currently work in the housing sector, with a background working in the voluntary community and social enterprise sector.
The reason I stood for election is because:
"As a member of the public, we can only do so much, if we want to really help, or make the change, then we have to put ourselves out there, and go the extra mile, for the local community".
I have always lived in Dane Valley and work in the local area.
